The no-key example
The example uses fictional messages and a prewritten work plan shipped with the website. Loading or editing that example makes no AI request. It is labeled as an example, not a live generation.
Live analysis
When you choose Run live analysis, your messages and Anthropic API key are sent over HTTPS to this site’s API. The server uses that key for one request to Anthropic’s Claude Haiku 4.5 model. Anthropic processes your messages under the terms and data policies applicable to your account.
The application does not write keys, source messages, or generated plans to a database, analytics service, or application logs. It does not retain them across page reloads. Hosting and model providers can process request metadata under their own policies; this is not a guarantee of zero retention by every service involved.
Your API key
The key stays in the page’s memory until submission, and the visible field clears when a live run starts. It is not put in browser storage, a cookie, an export, or a URL. The server uses it only to authenticate the requested model call. Use a restricted or temporary provider key where available and revoke it in your provider account when you are finished.
Costs and cancellation
Live mode uses your provider account. Each request is capped at 4,000 output tokens, input is bounded, and automatic retries are disabled. A failed, canceled, or rejected result may still incur a provider charge for processing already performed. The site does not use Mack’s API account as a fallback.
Drafts, exports, and real-world actions
Review marks and draft edits are temporary browser state. Downloading a work plan saves a Markdown file to your device containing the source messages, drafts, and review state. The lab cannot send an email, issue a refund, change a CRM record, or approve a payment.
Use appropriate examples
Use fictional or redacted business messages. Do not paste credentials, payment details, medical records, or other sensitive personal data. Source-quote matching confirms that a passage occurs in a message; it does not prove that the message is accurate or that a recommendation is correct.
