Why the controls are the product
I run this myself: an orchestrator that picks and executes work overnight on enforced budgets, refuses to mark a task done unless a verification command exits zero, and escalates to me after three failures.
One person, with leverage
You work directly with the person building the system — no account manager, no handoff, no junior learning on your budget. The reason that scales in 2026 is the same reason you are hiring me: I run a fleet of agents that do the repetitive engineering, and I spend my time on the decisions that actually need judgment.
I work remotely from Thailand with clients wherever they are. The time zone overlaps European mornings and North American evenings, and unattended systems do not care where their developer sleeps.
