I’m Robert “Mack” Grissom, an independent AI product engineer based in Thailand. I work remotely with founders and businesses on useful software: web products, native iOS apps, and AI systems with clear operational boundaries.
From freelance engineering to AI product building
My background is software engineering and freelance development. I enjoy taking responsibility for the whole experience: understanding the problem, choosing a manageable scope, building the application, and preparing the release.
AI expands what one engineer can build, but it does not remove the need for judgment. I work on the surrounding system as carefully as the model integration: permissions, data handling, verification, and the moments where a person should stay in control.

ai-os is my independent autonomous-work control plane. Sentinel explores a local-first coding agent with explicit security boundaries. The AI Operations Lab is an interactive example of turning business information into reviewable work.

How we work together
You work directly with me. We begin with the outcome you need, identify a useful first scope, and agree how to verify the result. That can mean a complete product, a specific integration, or an assessment of an existing application.
I’m based in Thailand, UTC+7, and collaborate remotely. We agree meeting times and written updates around your team. I do not present a fictional local office or an agency team; the person discussing the work is the person engineering it.
