Privacy policy.

Updated September 18, 2026. This describes what the site actually does, not what a template says a site might do.

What is collected

One thing: what you type into the enquiry form or the chat widget. That is an email address, which is required so a reply can reach you, an optional name, your message, and the page you were on when you sent it. Nothing else about you is gathered.

Analytics (only if you accept)

If you click Accept in the cookie banner, the site uses Amplitude, a third-party analytics service, to understand how it is used. That includes masked session replay: a recording of how a page was used (scrolling, clicking) in which text you type is hidden. It sets a cookie and uses your browser’s local storage to recognise a returning browser. Amplitude collects the pages you view, what you click (including which app cards, links and page sections you interact with), your device and browser type, and your approximate location (derived from your IP address).

It never collects text you type, the contents of forms or the chat widget, or documents; the contact, project-planner and MVP pages are excluded from recording entirely. If you click Decline, Amplitude is never loaded, and you can change your choice any time with the “Cookie settings” button at the bottom left of any page. How long Amplitude keeps data is set by Amplitude’s privacy policy.

What is not collected

The site runs no advertising pixels and no tag manager, and your browsing here is not sold or shared with data brokers. Without your consent no analytics script is loaded.

Where an enquiry goes

A submitted enquiry is delivered over HTTPS to a private Telegram message so it can be read and answered quickly. It is not written to a database, a CRM, or a mailing list, and it is not added to any marketing sequence. That notification, and any email reply thread that follows, is the only copy.

Enquiries are kept only as long as the conversation is useful — an active project, or a live thread. Ask, and anything held about you will be deleted.

Processors

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request data such as IP address and user agent in its server logs to serve pages and mitigate abuse. Enquiry notifications are delivered through Telegram. Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be erased. Because the only records are message threads, a request is usually satisfied the same day. Email mack@mackgrissom.io and say what you want done.

Children

This is a business site for commercial software work. It is not directed at children, and information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 16.

Changes

If what the site collects changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated.

Questions about any of this go to the contact page. See also the terms of use.
