All 66 books, and what each one costs you

1189 chapters across 66 books. Every book below shows what it is, how long it runs, and which days of a one-year plan it lands on — so you can see the shape of the year before you start it.

The shape of a year

A one-year plan is three to four chapters a day. That number is stable, but the difficulty is not: Genesis and Exodus move, Leviticus does not, Psalms runs for roughly forty days, and the whole Old Testament takes until day 278 before the gospels begin. Most people who abandon a plan do it in the same two or three places, and knowing where those are in advance is most of the fix.

The day ranges below come from the same distribution the app uses — 1,189 chapters spread evenly across 365 days, with the remainder on the earliest days — so what you see here is the plan, not an approximation of it. The full 365-day plan is here.
