Leviticus: 27 chapters
A manual of sacrifice, purity and holiness for a priestly nation. Almost no narrative — it is instruction, organised by category rather than by story.
- 27chapters
- 8days in the plan
- 23–30days of the year
Reading Leviticus in a year
The single most common place to abandon a Bible-in-a-year plan. It is three days of reading in this plan, not three weeks; knowing that in advance is most of what gets people through it.
In a one-year plan, Leviticus occupies days 23 to 30 — 8 days out of 365, or 2.3% of the Bible's 1189 chapters. Short enough not to become a project, long enough to develop.
The exact days
- Day 23 — Exodus 39–40, Leviticus 1–2
- Day 24 — Leviticus 3–6
- Day 25 — Leviticus 7–10
- Day 26 — Leviticus 11–14
- Day 27 — Leviticus 15–18
- Day 28 — Leviticus 19–22
