Who it is for

Cities are far more recognisable from the air than most people expect, but nothing teaches you how to read them. Flyover is built around that: after every round it shows you the tell — the lagoon, the bay and the bridge, the island of dense towers — so you start recognising places you have never been.

What it does

• Real cities in live 3D. Built on Apple Maps Flyover, so you are looking at actual terrain and buildings rather than a photograph.
• Flights that end. Five, seven or ten cities per flight, and every flight finishes.
• You learn the tell. Each round closes by naming the single detail that gives that city away from above.
• 151 cities, twelve routes. Six continents, themed routes from short hops to long hauls, plus a daily flight.
• A passport. Every city you have correctly stamped, collected in one place, with combo scoring and streaks.
• Game Center leaderboards. Compare flights against everyone else flying the same route.

Is Flyover free?

Yes, free to play, with one short sponsor break per flight — never during your first one. Flyover Pro is a single one-time purchase, not a subscription: it removes the ad breaks, unlocks every map pack and gives unlimited hints.

How is this different from Wandr?

Wandr puts you at street level and asks which country or city you are standing in. Flyover puts you in the air over a named city and asks you to recognise it from its shape. Different skill, same family.

Does it work offline?

No. The 3D city data streams from Apple Maps, so a connection is required.
